Common questions
How do I set up a new iPad?
Install Sunnyside Kitchen Systems from the App Store and open it. The first screen says "Set up this iPad." A manager signs in once with their email and password. From then on the iPad belongs to your restaurant, and your team signs in with their PINs.
I was invited. How do I get my login?
Your restaurant adds your email first. Then create your password on the Sunnyside website using that same email, and sign in on the iPad or the web.
A staff member forgot their PIN.
A manager can set a new one: open Team, choose the person, and type a new 6-digit PIN. After several wrong tries the keypad pauses for a few minutes to keep PINs safe.
The label printer isn't found.
Sunnyside prints to Brother label printers. Make sure the printer is on and on the same Wi-Fi as the iPad. On the iPad, open Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Local Network, and make sure Sunnyside is turned on.
How do I switch the kitchen screens to Spanish?
Tap Español on the PIN keypad or in the staff screens. Everything switches, including the item names and instructions your managers typed.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Settings, then My profile, then Delete my account, and type DELETE to confirm. This deletes your login; the records you made for the restaurant stay with the restaurant. If you are the last admin, make someone else an admin first, or write to us to close the restaurant's account.
Can I get a copy of our data?
Yes. Write to support@getsunnyside.co from an owner's or admin's email and we'll send your restaurant's information.
